


Soraya Darabi
Soraya Darabi (Persian: ثریا دارابی ‘’Soraya Darabi’’; born 23 September 1955) is an Iranian teacher, journalist and trade union activist. Also, she was editor of Teacher’s Pen Weekly Paper (هفته نامه قلم معلم) and the vice president of the Iran Teachers Trade Association (ITTA). On May 9, 2007, Soraya Darabi was arrested as the head editor of Teacher’s Pen, when the regime security guards (Pasdaran) has attacked a teachers gathering in Tehran (in front of the regime parliament), and she was sent to Evin Prison and prosecuted by Revolutionary Court of Khamenei‘s regime. Soraya Darabi is graduated with a bachelor’s degree in “Persian Literature, Culture, and Language”.
Mohammad Khaksari
Mohammad Khaksari is the owner and editor in chief of the Iranian teachers magazine called “Teacher’s Pen” (Ghalame Moalem = قلم معلم). Moreover, M. Khaksari is an activists of Iranian Teachers Union and he is the leading Co-founder of the first Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) of Iranian teachers and Iranian education workers (Iran Teachers Trade Association – ITTA) in Iran after the revolution of 1979.
Sajjad Khaksari
Sajjad Khaksari is the son of Soraya Darabi and Mohammad Khaksari, among the founders/leaders of the teacher union movements in Iran. Sajjad was born in Ahvaz, an ancient city in the province of Khuzestan, near the ancient Susa and not so far away from Babylonia and Mesopotamia. This province produces 90% of Iran’s crude oil, and Sajjad’s studies/research have shown him that there have NEVER been accidents or coincidences where wars and violent conflicts have occurred in this specific area of the world, in the last century! By the way, Sajjad is graduated in Engineering & Management from Polytechnic of Turin, and he also worked as a teacher of Information Technologies (IT) in 2 public high schools of Piedmont.
